My name is
Scott Morton. I have been playing the Bagpipes since I was eleven
years old.
As a young Scots Guardsman,
having completed 9 months of military training, I went on to be taught at
the Guards Depot Piping School under the direction of Sergeant Roger Huth
(later became Pipe Major) and Pipe Major Jimmy Banks.
I left the Army in 1998 and now live in Corby, Northamptonshire.
In January 2004 I was invited to play live
on BBC Radio
Northampton, during the show I gave the presenter,
Bernie Keith, a quick lesson on playing the pipes.
I am a member of the
Scottish Piping Society of London.
